Alton Brown Book SigningCelebrity chef and world-renowned television personality Alton Brown is going to be traveling to Issaquah, Washington on October 10 to sign copies of his new cookbook titled, “EveryDayCook: This Time It’s Personal” at the local Costco store. The signing event will begin at 12:00 p.m., so be sure to show up early if you would like to be one of the lucky people to meet with the chef and get a autographed copy of his book to take home.

The creator and host of the Food Network’s show “Good Eats” was born in California but grew up in Georgia, so he was exposed to two cultures of cuisine right from an early age. Before he was known for his cooking, Brown was a cinematographer in the 1980s and 1990s doing music videos and other media jobs. In 1997 he graduated from the New England Culinary Institute, which led him to create “Good Eats” the following year. From there he starred and hosted in many other cooking shows including Iron Chef America, Feasting on Asphalt, and Cutthroat Kitchen. In the last couple of decades Brown became such a big name in the food industry that he was named 2004’s “Cooking Teacher of the Year” by Bon Appetit magazine and he also won the James Beard Foundation Award for being the best food TV personality.

Brown is going to be in Issaquah, Washington in early October to sign copies of his new cookbook at the local Costco located on 10th Avenue. Be sure to get there early if you are in the area and want to meet the talented author and chef!
